Download the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool directly from Microsoft.

NOTE: IF YOU ARE ON A OFFICE NETWORK, please talk to your network administrator before downloading or running any software.
- To run the tool click the "Removal Tool" link above, then simply click the link for "Skip the details..."
- From there, click "Download." A new window will popup asking if you'd like to "Run" "Save" or "Cancel." Click "Run." You may also click "Save," and save the tool to your local hard drive in case you'd like to run it again later. I suggest running the tool from the Microsoft website in case there is an update.
- The tool will download - when it is finished downloading, click "Run" once more

- Once the tool opens, click "Next'. I suggest clicking "Full Scan." It takes longer to run, but is a more thorough scanning. Clicking next will cause the tool to begin scanning your computer.

- If the tool finds anything, it will report it back and give you the status

- While this is a good short-term fix for this issue, we recommend a long-term solution, such as good gateway protection provided by SonicWALL and/or centralized desktop/server protection from Tend Micro.
