Setting Up A New Mail Account
These instructions are for configuring an E-Mail account for a domain hosted with Complete Technology Solutions
Accounts with other services may require special configurations; please contact us if you have problems or questions.

Directions for Outlook Express or Outlook are available.

Outlook Express

1. Click Tools -> Accounts

 

2. Choose Add -> Mail

 

3. Enter your name, as you would like others to see it when
receiving mail from you.
Tip: Some people use their company name, or their own name.
Please be sure to capitalize and use your full first and last name.

 

4. Enter your full E-Mail Address
Tip: It is important to use your full E-Mail address here.
Please double check the spelling if your domain name.

 

5. Enter your incoming/outgoing server details.
BOTH settings be will exactly the same. Replace "yourdomain.com"
with your actual hosted domain name.

 

6. For Account Name, enter your full E-Mail address.
Tip: This is a common issue when setting up mail accounts.
PLEASE insure that you enter your
full E-Mail address, exactly what you entered in step 4. Double check spelling.

7. Click Finish

 

Outlook

1.Tools -> E-mail Accounts

 

 

2. Select "Add a new e-mail account"

 

3. Select "POP3"

 

4. Fill in the following:
1. The name as you would like it seen by those that you send mail to
2. Your full E-Mail address
, please double check spelling
3, 4. BOTH settings be will exactly the same. Replace "yourdomain.com"
with your actual hosted domain name.
5. Your FULL E-Mail address.
Please insure that you enter your full complete E-Mail address, exactly as you
entered in step 2 above. Please double-check spelling.

6. The password that you've chosen, or are supplied

5. Click Next -> Finish
